Tours in South Australia, Western Australia & Northern Territory
Wildlife Adventures & Culinary Journeys
Australian Wildlife Adventures has connected people with nature since 2004 by sharing landscapes, local produce, culture and wildlife on our two touring brands; Xplore Eyre and Nullarbor Traveller.
Catering to a broad range of markets, we showcase the regions between Adelaide and Perth, including the Eyre Peninsula, Flinders Ranges, the Great Australian Bight, the Nullarbor and south-west of Western Australia.
Xplore Eyre specialised in small group, private and luxury bespoke tours, attracting the domestic leisure and high-value international travellers. Tours depart Adelaide, Port Lincoln and Perth and range from 1 – 10 days.
Adventure brand Nullarbor Traveller offered 6 to 10-day camping and budget tours featuring unique experiences like swimming with wild sea lions, hiking, surfing, sand-boarding, and Indigenous culture. With a maximum of 20 people on board, we attract the 18-35 youth market, and also 35-55 adventure seekers.
Via our comprehensive bundle of the region’s best experiences, nature lovers enjoy getting off the beaten track to explore stunning national parks, deserted beaches and experience once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounters. Foodies discover the tastes of Australia, feasting on local produce from the land to the sea, and engaging in unique harvest and culinary experiences.
In 2021, we consolidated our offerings, adding yoga retreats to our experiences, and rebranded as Untamed Escapes.
We partner with only the best tourism operators to ensure the highest quality accommodation, meals and activities. Our team, led by company owner Craig “Hassie” Haslam, are proud ambassadors for our regions and deliver tours with unrivalled passion.
AWA are proudly Advanced Eco-Accredited, and a Climate Change Innovator. We're the only tour company in Australia to offset 100% of our carbon footprint. We do this through an Environmental Program at our accommodation property, Coodlie Park Farm Retreat, on the Eyre Peninsula.
